"Your Dominant Characteristic in the Seasonal Color Analysis - Light & Delicate""
If your dominant characteristic is Light, it means you have a light and soft coloring. Your intensity on the seasonal color analysis scale is the lightest and most delicate. Your overall coloring lacks contrast between skin, hair and eye color. Needless to say, you’re quite the opposite from a Deep-dark 🙂
Here is an example of an obvious Light (Heather Locklear) and a Deep-dark (Anne Hathaway):

Typical Characteristics of a Light Coloring
These are your dominant characteristics and that set you apart from the rest in the seasonal color analysis:
- A sure-way to tell that you’re belong to this group is your light hair color, ranging from golden blonde to cool ash blonde, and even light ash brown.
- Eye color is light; either light blue, grey, lighter shades of green or a mixture of all 3. However, a very pale brown is also possible.
- Your skin tone may be fair with cool light pink or light peach undertones.
Any signs of having dark features, crosses this color group off the list.
Light vs. Soft-muted
However if you have blonde hair with brown eyes, or your hair appears to be a mix of warm and cool (deep and light) then that’s an indicator that you’re a Soft-muted.
Here is an example of Jennifer Aniston and Katherine Heigl who are Soft-muted – their coloring often gets misdiagnosed as Light, despite their ‘in-between’ coloring which appears neutral:
Blonde Hair = Winter?
Unfortunately I currently don’t have any pictures of Winter celebs who have light Summer-like hair (you’re welcome to email me if you have any!). But this coloring is not uncommon. Many blondes may be falsely diagnosed as Light but are in reality either Cool or Clear Winter. So how is that possible?
Usually, a person with silvery blonde hair is considered cool and vivid, which makes Cool winter colors look amazing good on them. However, if you have a typical light blonde hair BUT clear and sparkly eyes that seem to dominate your look, then you’re most likely a Clear. Think dominant characteristic.
Your Best Colors
Some of your best colors are soft, dusty and muted, such as baby blue, pastels and lavender.
Depending on your undertones – if you have a light but warm coloring, you look best in peachier and warmer colors such as coral and camel, which makes you lean a bit towards Spring. If you’re light but cool you’ll look great in the lighter and softer colors like cocoa, sand and powder pink.
Are You Cool or Warm?
To determine out if you’re Warm Light or Cool Light you’ll have to figure out if you suit cool or warm colors better. This tells you what type of light colors look best on you.
Here is an example of the temperature between a Warm (Kate Hudson) and Cool Light (Naomi Watts):
